Nepal a Mindful Journey is a 15-day, 14-night small join-in group journey from September 22 to October 6, 2026, created for those who long to experience travel with meaning and reverence.
Nepal a Mindful Journey
The journey starts from Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal. Then moves to Chitwan National Park, Lumbini, Pokhara and back to Kathmandu, weaving sacred sites, Himalayan landscapes, living culture, wildlife, mindful practice and quiet reflection into one deeply felt experience.
At the heart of the journey is a simple but powerful invitation: to awaken inwardly while travelling more gently outwardly. Each day is thoughtfully paced so travellers can slow down, arrive through the senses and feel Nepal beyond sightseeing. A temple bell drifting through the morning air, incense rising beside prayer wheels, the texture of clay beneath the hands in Bhaktapur, the stillness of Lumbini’s sacred garden, the nature walks and call of birds over the misty rivers of Chitwan and the snow-bright horizon of Pokhara all become part of the mindful practice.
Indra Jatra
A special highlight is Indra Jatra, one of Kathmandu’s most vibrant and meaningful festivals. Travellers will experience the old city alive with chariots, masked dances, sacred ritual, music, devotion and the rare presence of the Living Goddess Kumari. In that atmosphere of collective celebration, Nepal can be felt through wonder, reverence and connection.
The Journey
The journey also carries travellers into the cultural and spiritual depth of the Kathmandu Valley, with visits to Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur Durbar Squares, Swoyambhunath and Bodhnath Stupas and the temple of Pashupatinath, all treasured heritage sites declared by UNESCO. In Chitwan, travellers enter Nepal’s green heartbeat through jungle experiences shaped by forest, river and wildlife. Walking through the sacred Garden of Lumbini, the birthplace of the Buddha, the pace softens into silence, reflection and blessing. In Pokhara, lake, sky and Himalayan light open a sense of spaciousness, calm and inner renewal.
This is a mindful travel in action. Signature experiences are woven throughout the journey, including the Five Senses Arrival Practice, mindful walking, daily reflection, evening integration circles and mindful connection with people, culture and place. These practices help travellers absorb each day more deeply and return home not only with memories, but with a quieter mind, a fuller heart and a more conscious way of being.
