Nam Lear Mountain / Roum El Stone Field
This is a fascinating, otherworldly rock outcrop that sits in the middle of the Mondulkiri jungle close to the border with Vietnam.
The surrounding area is Phnom Nam Lear Wildlife Sanctuary, which was established in 1993.
The road becomes a dirt track as it passes through the rubber plantations. It is best reached by motorbike or 4x4 vehicle, but is just about passable in a normal car if the ground is not too muddy.
It's steep but well worth the walk up to soak up the spectacular panoramic views.
