Ales From Wales brings together heritage rail travel and Welsh brewing on the scenic Dee Valley line.
Running on selected Saturdays between 25 April and 10 October 2026, this ticketed real-ale experience departs from Llangollen and offers passengers the chance to sample a curated range of Welsh ales while travelling through the Denbighshire countryside. Hosted by Llangollen Railway, the event combines restored rolling stock with locally sourced beer, creating a distinctive evening outing for real-ale enthusiasts and railway supporters alike. Each date operates as a standalone event with limited capacity, maintaining an intimate atmosphere on board. Advance booking is required, and trains depart at 17:00 from Llangollen station.
