The Bridlington Kite Festival close to the popular Yorkshire coastal resort is held in May 2024.

There will be a wide array of kites in various different colours and designs over the two days of the festival that will soar into the skies above Sewerby Fields near Bridlington in Yorkshire. Expect frogs, snakes, lizards and even dragons leap into the air as Yorkshire’s normally leaden skies are given a dash of colour of which local hero David Hockney might approve.

In addition to demonstrations from professional kite flyers, you can have a go at flying a kite, which are available to be hired out under supervision.
