Bumbershoot Festival has become a mainstay of the Seattle cultural scene for more than five decades. The arts and music festival is held over the United States’ Labor Day weekend. In 2024 this coincides with 31 August and 1 September.
Bumbershoot Festival
The festival is more than a great music weekend although Bob Dylan has performed at Bumbershoot. Comedy, theatre, dance, literature, film and the visual arts feature strongly at the festival, although the emphasis is most definitely on the talent in abundance in the Pacific Northwest Region.
