Cardiff Christmas Market 2025, Cardiff, Wales

Cardiff Christmas Market

Cardiff Christmas Market

Organised by Craft*Folk for over three decades, the Cardiff Christmas Market – or Marchnad Nadolig Caerdydd in Welsh – champions home‑grown creativity.

The streets around St John’s Church fill with distinctive stalls selling fused glass, turned wood, textiles and original art—ideal if you prefer gifts with provenance. Alongside, you’ll find Welsh cakes hot off the griddle, artisan cheese and ciders. Everything is walkable from Cardiff Central station via The Hayes, and the market blends neatly with the city’s shopping arcades for rainy‑day cover. Visit by day for browsing and people‑watching from café windows; return at dusk when the fairy lights sparkle.

With long November–December dates, it’s easy to match a trip with a rugby weekend – Wales play Japan on 15 November, New Zealand on 22 November and South Africa on 29 November, a castle visit or an evening at the Principality Stadium.

Expect a friendly, craft‑forward feel rather than big thrill rides.
