Since 1826, Cowes Week has been an essential entry in the English summer calendar, alongside Wimbledon and the Henley Regatta.
Of its type, the largest sailing regatta in the world and one of Britain’s longest running sporting events, each day as many as 800 boats, with yachtsman ranging from Olympians to the weekend sailor, will compete in 40 races throughout Cowes week.
More than 100,000 spectators are expected to descend upon the small town of Cowes on the north of the Isle of Wight for the festival, and you can be assured that the party will carry well on into the night with live music, DJs and an excess of Pimms flowing, in that unique Cowes ambience.
When is the Cowes Week 2023
The 2023 Week will be from 29 July to 4 August.
