Primal Scream is headlining the Friday of the Lindisfarne Festival 2023 held at Beal Farm, Northumberland from 31 August to 3 September.

Overlooking the majestic Holy Island, the Northumberland music festival showcases music, comedy and the creative arts. This year will see a range of activities in addition to the truly stellar lineup of bands, which you can find here.

History of the Lindisfane Festival

The original festival was held in 2015 when a 2,000-strong crowd descended upon Beale Farm. Their aim was to create a trul affordable music, arts and wellness festival in addition having a great end of summer party.

Free camping is included in the price of a ticket, but those looking for a little pampering, can choose from glamping options, such as yurts, squrts and bell tents in the glamping zone.

The Lindisfarne Festival, organisers believe that the their dedicated team of volunteers will help provide a unique and special event in what they claim is an independent and affordable unique “boutique festival experience”. The festival is funded by crowdfunding.

Travel Begins at 40 has an extensive list of music festivals in the UK and overseas from the Notting Hill Carnival (August) to the Isle of Wight Festival (June), and the Tenby Blues Festival (November) to the EFG London Jazz Festival (November) and even the Whitby Folk Week (August).

Tickets range from £66.21 to £115.04, depending on whether you get a one-day or full festival pass and can be bought here.

Lindisfarne Festival Glamping

The ticket price includes free camping. However you can buy a glamping package from arund £300, or book a room in a local hotel or B&B.

Getting to the Lindisfarne Festival 2022
