August 29, 2019 - September 1, 2019
Ocean Colour Scene, Goldie, Pete Doherty and the Puta Madres, and Lidisfarne are amongst the acts performing at the Lindisfarne Festival 2019 held at Beal Farm, Northumberland from 29 August to 1 September.
Overlooking the majestic Holy Island, the Northumberland music festival showcases music, comedy and the creative arts. Performers confirmed include: The Showhank Duo, Frank de Wulf, Ragga Twins, Louise Distrass, 3 Daft Monkeys, Tankus the Henge, Gentleman’s Dub Club and DJ Yoda.
The Lindisfarne Festival fancy dress theme for this year is Vi-Kings and Queens.
Free camping is included in the price of a ticket, but those looking for a little pampering, can choose from glamping options, such as yurts, squrts and bell tents, provided by Hexham-based Cloudhouses.
The fifth Lindisfarne Festival, organisers believe that the their dedicated team of volunteers will help provide a unique and special event in what they claim is an independent and affordable unique “boutique festival experience”. The festival is funded by crowdfunding.
Funds will be raised for Crisis, the UK homelessness charity, at the event via the Musicians Against Homelessness initiative, or MAH.
The festival is an 18-plus only event. Details of the festivals’ ethical policy can be found here.
