Lindisfarne Festival 2019

Happy Mondays will headline the Lindisfarne Festival 2018 held at Beal Farm, Northumberland from 30 August to 2 September. Overlooking the majestic Holy Island, the festival showcases music, comedy and the creative arts. Building on from the success of the 2017 event, this year will see a special blues tent, reggae and dub shack and an ecstatic dance extravaganza.

Celebrating their 3oth year in the business, Brighton’s The Levellers will headline the Saturday night gig.
With an anticipated 4,000 people attending, the festival will feature more than 150 acts on its 10 stages over the four days, as well as DJs spinning until until 4am. Bands confirmed include: Hattie Murdoch, Ferocious Dog, The Showhawk Duo, Bessie & the Zinc Buckets, Colonel Mustard & the Dijon 5, Hip Hop Hooray, Bombskare, Detroit Social Club, Martha Raine and Awry.
Free camping is included in the price of a ticket, but those looking for a little pampering, can choose from glamping options, such as yurts, squrts and bell tents, provided by Hexham-based Cloudhouses.
The fourth Lindisfarne Festival, organisers believe that the their dedicated team of volunteers will help provide a unique and special event in what they claim is an independent and affordable unique “boutique festival experience”. The festival is funded by crowdfunding.
Funds will be raised for Crisis, the UK homelessness charity, at the event via the Musicians Against Homelessness initiative, or MAH.
The festival is an 18-plus only event.
