Lucca Summer Festival 2023
July 1 - July 16
July sees one of the highlights of the Italian festival season with the Lucca Summer Festival held in the beautiful Tuscan town.
The festival is held within the ancient walls of Lucca which create a magical backdrop for this musical spectacle. The concerts are held in the Piazza Napoleone in the heart of the old town (see main photo).
History of the Festival
The original festival was held in 1998 with Bob Dylan headlining. In the past Elton John, David Bowie, Paul Simon, Eric Clapton and Ed Sheeran have performed.

This year confirmed artists include: Robbie Williams (28 July), Celine Dion (15 July), One Republic (16 July) and Simply Red (1 July). You can check out the current schedule here.
When is the 2023 festival held?
Precise dates are yet to be confirmed but the festival will run from 1 to 16 July at least. We recommend you check out the official website listed below.
