The Malton Harvest Food Lovers Festival, an autumnal counterpart to the Spring Food Lovers Festival, celebrates Yorkshire‘s finest produce and culinary delights, focusing on seasonal autumn offerings. Anticipate a bounty of game, seafood, wild and foraged foods, soft fruits, an abundance of baked goods, and a variety of vegetarian and vegan options, alongside the finest street food.
Situated in the scenic Market Place of Malton, the festival promises an exceptional lineup of chef demonstrations, over 100 artisanal food stalls, live music, informative talks, tastings, and numerous other attractions.
When Is the Malton Harvest Food Lovers Festival 2024?
Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 October 2024. It begins at 9am on Saturday and 10am on Sunday. Festival Bars Opening Times: Saturday (10am – 5.30pm); Sunday (10am – 4.30pm)
What to Expect
The autumn event will feature renowned TV chef Benoit Blin, who will return to Malton to promote his latest book, “Bake with Benoit Blin: Master Cakes, Pastries and Desserts Like a Professional.” Serving as Raymond Blanc’s Head Pastry Chef at the acclaimed Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons in Oxfordshire, UK since 1995, Benoit is also a judge and presenter on Channel 4’s Bake Off: The Professionals. He is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of pastry chefs. His excellence in the field was honoured in 2005 with the Master of Culinary Arts title, the UK’s highest pastry honour, and in 2009, he earned the distinction of Pastry Chef of the Year.

Where to Park
Designated festival Park & Ride car parks are available at Orchard Fields YO17 7EG and Riverside Meadows YO17 6AX, operating at a cost of £7.50 per car.
The Park and Ride service will run from 9:00 to 18:30 on Saturday and from 10:00 to 17:30 on Sunday. It will be accessible from each entrance to Malton off the A64, offering a regular shuttle bus service directly to the event’s entrance. The approximate walking time is 10 to 15 minutes.
