The Christmas Boat Parade Returns for its 117th Year
Now in its 117th year, the Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade runs from 17–21 December 2025 with the theme “Magical Nights of Lights.” Visitors can admire a dazzling flotilla of Duffy boats, yachts and kayaks decorated with sparkling lights, competing along the city’s iconic 14-mile waterfront course. Opening night coincides with the annual Holiday Market, creating a perfect start to the festivities.
Holiday Market at the Boat Parade
The fourth annual Holiday Market, in partnership with Creative Communal, runs from 4pm–8pm on 17 December. The market features more than 35 local makers, artisanal food vendors, live music, entertainment, photo opportunities, and children’s activities. It’s an ideal spot to pick up last-minute gifts, savour seasonal treats, and soak up the festive atmosphere along the Newport Beach waterfront.
Holiday Female Maker Market at Lido Marina Village
On 13 December, Lido Marina Village hosts The Holiday Female Maker Market from 10am–4pm. This unique market spotlights over 30 talented female artists and artisans, set against a backdrop of live music by Lauren Black. It’s a vibrant celebration of creativity, perfect for travellers seeking distinctive gifts and a relaxed, festive shopping experience.
