Our Bury St Edmunds Food & Drink Festival
August 29 - August 30
Bury St Edmunds’ food festival is returning to the medieval Suffolk market town in August. Our Bury St Edmunds Food & Drink Festival 2021 will be held over the August Bank Holiday weekend.
The foodie fest will include celebrity cookery demonstrations in addition to around 120 stalls for foodies to sample a wide range of local produce.
With an urban beach, farmers’ market, mini farm, punch and judy, and fairground rides, this is a Suffolk food and drink festival for all the family. Most of Bury St Edmunds restaurants, pubs and coffee shops will be open for the two-day food festival.
Our Bury St Edmunds Food & Drink Festival Highlights
This year’s highlights include celebrity chefs Paul Rankin and Sean Wilson demonstrating their cookery skills at the Stoves Cookery Theatre.
Self-taught cook, Sean Wilson starred as Martin Platt on Coronation Street for 21 years before donning his apron to present the Great Northern Cookbook on Channel 5. He has won several awards for his outstanding cheeses.
Chef Paul Rankin will be famous to many a festival-goer for his appearances on Ready Steady Cook
In addition, leading chefs from Bury’s restaurants, including The Angel Hotel’s Eaterie, will keep the crowds entertained for free.
When is the Bury St Edmunds food festival?
It will be held on 29 and 30 August from 10am to 5pm.
