The Queen’s Park Book Festival is set to make its return in late summer 2026, showcasing a vibrant mix of both established and emerging literary talents in celebration of the written word. Sadly this will be the last Queen’s Park Book Festival.
Set amidst the natural beauty of Northwest London‘s Queen’s Park, the festival is celebrated for merging the quaintness of a village fete with the allure of today’s leading literary figures, offering an engaging lineup of events, guest authors, speakers and performers throughout the weekend of 30-31 August.
This year’s programme offers a vibrant and varied line up of both renowned and emerging voices in North London. Highlights include appearances by Naga Munchetty, Alan Hollinghurst, Hanif Kureishi, Lyse Doucet, Kit de Waal and Geoff Dyer, along with special children’s book events featuring Zadie Smith and Nick Laird.

This year’s programme brings an exciting range of established and emerging talent to North London: literary legends including Philip Pullman and Sebastian Barry, a very special event with British Museum curator Michael Lewis celebrating the Bayeux Tapestry’s return to the UK, and children’s book events including a talk with beloved author Jacqueline Wilson.
