Roskilde Festival Denmark 2023

Roskilde Festival, Denmark’s answer to Glastonbury, will take place in June. Organisers of this non-profit event have announced that Brit Pop greats Blur will headline the 2023 festival.
Other confirmed bands at the leading Danish music festival include Lil Nas X, Rosalía, Central Cee, Fever Ray, GloRilla, J.I.D, Rema, Rosalía, Christine and the Queens, Burna Boy, Fever Ray, and Queens of the Stone Age. The festival is a mix of music, art, activism and community involvement.

Confirmed Roskilde Festival music acts include: BLUR; BURNA BOY; CHRISTINE AND THE QUEENS PRESENTS REDCAR; QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE; ALICE GLASS; DENZEL CURRY; JAPANESE BREAKFAST; KESI; RINA SAWAYAMA; TOBIAS RAHIM; PRISMA and TOVE LO.
Apart from seeing some of the greatest bands performng live, in going to the festival you are supporting a great cause.
The festival was fomed in 1971, and since then it has united generations around the themes of art and community – 30,000 volunteers are involved – as well as naturally music. While the main focus of the festival is to party and have a good time, all profits are donated to the humanitarian, non-profit and cultural work via the Roskilde Festival Charity Society. Since its inception the festival has raised some 55 million euro for charity.

Tickets for summer’s festival costs DKK 2,400 +bf (approx £280 +bf).

It will take place from 24 June to 1 July 2023.

Roskilde Festival Camping
Camping at the festival is included in the price of your ticket, although you can glamp it up a bit, or stay in the community camping site, donating money to a special cause. Further information can be found here.
