Solothurner Biertage is a classic Swiss spring beer weekend in a beautifully preserved baroque city. It’s best approached as a tasting-led event—arrive early, pace yourself, and use public transport where possible.
The 22nd edition runs from 30 April to 2 May 2026 in and around the Rythalle at Schanzenplatz from 16:00–23:30 on Thursday, then extended sessions on Friday and Saturday (14:00–00:30), so you can choose between an early-evening visit or a late night.
A day pass is priced at CHF 15 and includes the festival’s reusable cup (with deposit and glass options explained by the organiser). With the venue around five minutes’ walk from the station, it’s easy to combine tastings with Solothurn’s riverside walks, museums and old-town cafés for a relaxed long weekend. If you’re travelling, book accommodation early and plan your return journey in advance.
