More than 17,000 people are expected to travel to the South coast for Southampton Pride on 26 August 2023.

The event will include a Pride Village and Market Hall inside the O2 Guildhall, as well as a Pride Parade which will weave its way through the city centre and historic Bargate before heading back to Guildhall Square. The Pride Parade will start at Queens Park Briton Street at 11am.

There will be a series of talks, music and entertainment in addition to the market stalls. All this will support the city’s LGBTQ+ community. In total, there will be more than 60 acts and over 30 vendors.

Performing this year will be: Liberty X, Drag Syndrome and The Vivienne.

The event is free to the public.

History of Southampton Pride

The initial event was formed as a response to the Pulse nightclub shooting in Orlando, Florida, US.

The event will be held in Guildhall Square, in the centre of Southampton.

Getting There
