Thousands of people will travel to the South coast for Southampton Pride on 24 and 25 August 2024.

Thousands of people will travel to the South coast for Southampton Pride on 24 and 25 August 2024.

The event will include a Pride Village and Market Hall inside the O2 Guildhall, as well as a Pride Parade which will weave its way through the city centre and historic Bargate before heading back to Guildhall Square. The Pride Parade will start at Queens Park Briton Street at 11am.

There will be a series of talks, music and entertainment in addition to the market stalls. All this will support the city’s LGBTQ+ community. In total, there will be more than 60 acts and over 30 vendors.

Performing this year will be: Claire Richards, Baga Chipz, Sonia and Matt Terry.

The event is free to the public.

History of Southampton Pride

The initial event was formed as a response to the Pulse nightclub shooting in Orlando, Florida, US.

24 and 25 August 2024, from 11am.

The event will be held in Guildhall Square, in the centre of Southampton.

Getting There

Guildhall Square is in the city centre near West Quay Shopping Centre. It takes five to 10 minutes to walk from Southampton Central Station up a steep hill. If you are looking for accommodation in Southampton, click here.
