
The spectacular Umbrian city of Spoleto will once more host the Spoleto Festival (Festival di Spoleto) this summer. The 68th Spoleto Festival Italy will take place from 27 June to 13 July.
The Festival Spoleto will comprise of evening of concerts held in the Piazza Duomo and the Roman Theatre.

The full schedule can be found here. The Festival dei Due Mondi di Spoleto to give its full Italian name returns in 2025 from June 27 to July 13 in Spoleto, Italy. Founded in 1958 by Gian Carlo Menotti, the 68th edition showcases opera (including Rufus Wainwright’s Hadrian), dance, theatre, visual arts, and interdisciplinary dialogues in historic venues such as Teatro Caio Melisso.
Also performing in this year’s festival are Luca Marinelli, William Kentridge, Anoushka Shankar and Rufus Wainwright.
History of the Spoleto Festival
Founded in 1958 by composer Gian Carlo Menotti, the Festival Spoleto of Two Worlds aimed to unite American and European artistic traditions. Held in the historic town of Spoleto, Italy, it became renowned for avant-garde performances, launching many significant careers and cultural exchanges.
