In September, Strawberry Hill House, 18th century villa and former home of Horace Walpole (1717-1797), welcomes visitors to its fabulously fragrant annual Flower Festival. Strawberry Hill House Flower Festival 2025 is a treat of a show, celebrating all things floral, with flower arrangements like you’ve never seen before displayed inside and outside this amazing Gothic Revival castle. There are also workshops, candlelight tours and a chance to meet the extraordinary floral artists and growers.
Heaven Scent

The first thing you’re likely to notice as you enter the Festival is an overpoweringly gorgeous scent. Floral displays spill from every nook and cranny— indoors and outdoors, festooned across stairways, windows, fireplaces and Georgian bedchambers. You’re guaranteed to come away with a sense of joyful upliftingness.
Festival organisers believe floral design should reflect the natural world in all its non-uniformity and imperfection, and that every stage of the fleeting life of a flower should be celebrated. The more than 30 floral designers pride themselves on using traditional methods to construct their showpieces.
The UK’s Most Sustainable Flower Show

As the UK’s most sustainable flower show, all flowers are British grown. Displays contain no floral foam or single use plastics. Nothing is wasted, neither leaf, bud or stem, and when the festival ends, everything is reused or composted in Strawberry Hill House’s vast gardens.
