This September will see the county of Devon become a foodie’s delight as the field to fork Taste East Devon Festival 2023 takes over the countryside.

The festival will feature chefs, tastings, demos and events for two weeks from 14 to 22 September. Expect Michael Caines of Lympstone Manor, one of the co-founders to pop in too.

Events range from ‘meet the brewer’ to wine and cheese tastings, gin school, family festivals, kitchen gardens, seafood suppers, charity meals, masterclasses, afternoon tea, streetfood, live music, coastal foraging and a picnic; all concluding with a sunday afternoon party at THE PIG on 18 September from 1pm to 7pm.

However it is not just the food and drink that makes this part of the UK so special, East Devon possesses the Jurassic Coast as well as two Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. As all the events are only half an hour from the sea, you can always combine a tasting with a quick dip or wonderful walk.
