Fitness fanatics should head to the Canary Islands this February for Transgrancanaria. Held on Gran Canaria since October 2003, the race that will test your levels of endurance.

Staged from 4 to 8 March, 2020, Transgrancanaria comprises of six different races – the 360º, the 128km Transgrancanaria, Advanced, Marathon, Starter and Youth, making it available to everyone.

Competitors must cross the island on foot passing through several aid stations, which allows the organisers to monitor participants’ progress, ensuring their safety and comfort.

The race is part of the Ultra-Trail World-Tour, a long-distance (more than 100 kilometres) trail racing circuit, over different technical terrain at various levels of difficulty. over five continents.

There is no need to worry if you are more a tortoise than a hare, as you have 29 hours to complete the route.
