The much‑loved Village de Noël de Liège takes over Place Saint‑Lambert and Place du Marché with around 200 chalets from November.
The city embraces the theme with its own festive ‘village’ complete with skating, hearty Ardennes fare and convivial bars. It’s a social market as much as a shopping one—perfect for meeting friends, tasting regional delicacies and soaking up music and lights. The two squares sit in the pedestrian core; Guillemins station is a short bus ride or pleasant walk over the Meuse. Running from late November into January, Liège suits both pre‑Christmas shopping and post‑holiday winter cheer.
