Celebrate the Great Outdoors with the annual Walking East Yorkshire Festival held from 9 to 23 September, 2023.

The walking festival highlights the Yorkshire Wolds landscape that has so inspired the artist David Hockney, as well as its spectacular coastline and some very interesting cities. Walks are deliberately designed to appeal to walkers of all capabilities.

However, the festival is not just about walking in East Yorkshire, as activities are arranged to appeal to cyclists, horse riders, history buffs and nature lovers, as well as of course hikers.

A full list of all the walks in this year’s walking festival can be found here. As 2023, is the Year of the Coast, there are several walks with a coastal theme this year.
