The glorious Farne Islands off the spectacular Northumberland coastline is set to reopen on 25 March after a two-year closure.
A paradise for nature lovers and kids, the islands are easily explored from the fishing village of Seahouses on the mainland. For the past two years visitors have not been allowed to land on the islands, but this is set to change this spring.

In addition to the famous Farne Islands puffins, you can see razorbills, kittiwakes and Arctic terns, plus if you are lucky some grey seal pups.
