Discover the Wisdom of Thai Cuisine at R.HAAN

R.HAAN, Bangkok’s fine dining establishment, recently received a Michelin star for the quality of its cuisine. With its origins in the Thai proverb ‘Nai Nam Mee Pla, Nai Na Mee Khao, which means ‘there are fish in the water and rice in the fields’, referring to the abundance and fertility of the Thai kingdom while signifying the global popularity of Thai food, the restaurant is celebrating its award with a special Royal Summer Menu.

The restaurant intends to showcase the essence of real Thai cuisine through the expert art of its experienced chef who uses the same spices and ingredients found in original royal Thai recipes, and meticulously selects premium quality of ingredients, making each dish at R.HAAN full of the taste of authentic Thai food.

R.HAAN places much importance on the wisdom and essence of Thai cuisine, passed down by Thai people through its raw materials and the ingredients, as well as Thai art and culture. So food lovers everywhere can fully experience, savour and delight in what is truly Thai.

To celebrate the award, Chef Chumpol has prepared summer dishes that feature the finest locally grown produce to provide a culinary journey from plate to palate.

It is an aesthetic meal using the culinary crafts and seasonal wonders inspired by old recipes to create exquisite dishes served on beautiful hand painted ceramic tableware once used in the Royal Palace during Rattanakosin era.
