Iconic Icehotel in Swedish Lapland has just launched two new dedicated ‘wellbeing weekends’ in February and March (17-20 February and 03-06 March) perfect for those after a physical and mental boost to kick start the new year, as well those looking for a seriously ‘cool’ last-minute Valentine’s gift.
Each departure takes advantage of Discover the World’s exclusive #IceFlight from London Heathrow to Kiruna, making the Icehotel accessible in just over three hours from the UK. During each weekend holidaymakers will, for the first time, be able to combine winter pursuits like running, Nordic skiing and meditative woodcarving workshops with peaceful Arctic yoga and authentic Aufguss saunas.
The second weekend also coincides with the annual Ice Harvest Festival on 05 March, celebrating the source of the hotel whilst marking the beginning of the creative process for next year, as guests watch crystal-clear ice being harvested from the River Torne.
Prices for a 3x night break including flights start from £1,154pp. Further details are below, with more information here: www.discover-the-world.co.uk/icehotel.
