New Scandi Log Cabins Opens in Snowdonia

Four individually styled Scandi log cabins have opened on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park in the foothills of the beautiful Berwyn Mountains in North Wales – each with its own theme.

Perfectly designed for two, the cosy self-catering Rivercatcher Log Cabins feature wood burners, fully equipped kitchens, award-winning kingsize beds and stunning glass fronted apex windows to make the most of the green landscape.

Guests can embrace the warmth outside while cooking alfresco on the wood-fired outdoor kitchen or soak under the stars in the hot tub within the sanctuary of the private deck. A three-night short break in low season costs £365 and a week £521.

Each of the four cabins has its own vibe, there’s Cwtch, or hug in Welsh, with its rustic design and earthy colours. Lagom is a light and airy Scandi-style cabin, which oozes timeless calm and elegance; Hyggelig, a traditional Norwegian ‘ski chalet’ type abode; and Gezellig, an eclectically styled boho cabin bursting with bright colours and vigour.
