Celebrate New Year in Uzbekistan

Navruz or Nowruz – the Persian New Year – takes place on 21 March and is celebrated enthusiastically across Uzbekistan. Aside from music, dancing and traditional food, various sports including wrestling and horse racing take place.

It’s a fabulously socially inclusive atmosphere.

An 11-day culturally-focused trip – an immersion into the local life, learning traditional handicraft techniques and enjoying delicious Uzbek cuisine – costs from £1,490 pp (based on two sharing), including accommodation, breakfast daily, some meals, transfers, excursions and the services of a local guide. Flights extra.
