September self-catering breaks are selling fast but there’s still time to book a late summer escape. Availability in Premier Cottages’ luxury collection includes:

Barrow Hill Barns, Hampshire

On a working farm in the heart of the South Downs National Park, Barrow Hill Barns offers glorious view of the Hampshire countryside, walking trails straight from the door as well as three great pubs within walking distance.

The cluster of eight barns is within easy reach of the historical cities of Winchester, Portsmouth and Chichester, and just a 30 minutes’ drive from the beaches of Hayling Island and West Wittering. Seven barns are dog-friendly too. A week’s stay for four in Barrow Hill Barn’s Farlass arriving 21 September and a week in Wheatricks for four arriving 26 September costs £990 (£247.50 per person).

Broomhill Manor, Cornwall

Broomhill Manor is a collection of 18 luxury properties within walking distance of Bude’s award-winning beaches.

Relax in 18 acres of private gardens and grounds, including a 30-foot outdoor heated pool with paddling area for toddlers to safely play in – available via “exclusive use swim slots” for guests to enjoy private use. There’s also a tennis court, outdoor play areas and a heated indoor pool – also available on an exclusive-use basis. Broomhill Manor boasts stables with ponies and horses plus experienced staff to provide lessons for all ages and abilities, with special lessons for under 5’s on Shetland ponies.

A seven-night break for five in Broomhill’s House Cottage costs £1360 (£272 per person) arriving on 5 September. A week arriving on 12 or 19 September costs £1270  (£254 per person) and a week arriving on 26 September costs £945 (£189 per person). There is also plenty of September availability in the other 17 cottages too – some with private hot tubs.

The Pele Tower, Cumbria

The Pele Tower is set in a beautifully restored 14th century castle in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, 20 minutes from the Lake District. A luxury property, which comes complete with ultrafast internet, battlements, mullion windows and a stone flagged ground floor, it sleeps four in two bedrooms.

The outside space offers peace and tranquillity and the chance to spot wildlife in the stream below, infinity glass surrounds the decked platform. There is plenty to do in the area with lots of great walks straight from the door and fantastic places to eat. Guests receive a welcome hamper with homemade treats on arrival. The Pele Tower sleeps four and costs £1370 (£342.50 per person) for a week arriving 29 August or 26 September.

Ffynnon Gron, Pembrokeshire

In the hills of Pembrokeshire, just 5 miles from the famous 186 mile Pembrokeshire coast path Ffynnon Gronis perfect for large families and groups of friends seeking a crowd free break.

Accessed via a long, private driveway this beautiful Georgian farmhouse sits in 1.5 acres of secluded landscaped gardens. It accommodates up to 16 guests in style in eight bedrooms and boasts walk-in power showers and roll top baths. There’s also a fun packed games room ideal for keeping kids entertained and a study, well stocked with books.

A week’s stay for 16 arriving 4 September costs £2,505 (£156.56 per person), a week arriving on 19 September £2,461 (£153.81 per person) and a week arriving on 25 September costs £2,192 (£137 per person).
