One of the Big Apple’s most popular events, Broadway Week, takes place in late January to early February coinciding with a plethora of other offers, making New York much more affordable. Though it is mid-winter, so don’t forget to wrap up warm.
Running in parallel at this time are Broadway Week, Must-See Week and Restaurant Week. And, if the offer seems mathematically-challenged, you are quite right; this so-called ‘week’ actually runs overal several weeks. Given the time of year, hotel occupancy and special rates will help you with the costs of the trip.
Broadway Week, Must-See Week and Restaurant Week
Let’s start with Broadway Week. It is essentially a two-for-one offer, though check to see which shows are included. You can find a list of shows included here.
Quite complimentary to this, and great for filling up your daytime, is the Must-See experience that works on the same two-for-one idea. This includes attractions, museums, tours and the performing arts.
And, for when you are feeling peckish, Restaurant Week kicks in. Over 350 participating restaurants offer fixed price meals: two-course for lunch and three-course for dinner from 17 January to 12 February, 2023.
History of Broadway Week
Broadway Week started in 2011 and since then more than a million tickets to over 150 productions have been sold.
