Richmond’s Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden hosts the Dominion Energy GardenFest of Lights
This is Virginia’s signature walk-through Christmas lights event, with millions of lights, themed displays, model trains and warm-up stations for cocoa and s’mores. Tickets are online and timed-entry only, so visitors can enjoy the gardens without crowding — important in December weekends. Member nights at the start and end of the run give locals extra flexibility. Parking is on site and clearly marshalled, and the garden is an easy drive from I-95 and I-64, so this works well for families across Central Virginia.
