Haarlem’s weekend Christmas market is a Dutch favourite, with hundreds of stalls radiating from the Grote Markt into the old town’s handsome streets.
You’ll find crafts, seasonal bakes and cosy bars dotted along the route, plus carols and brass bands for atmosphere. It’s an easy hop from Amsterdam by train (about 15 minutes) and the compact centre is walkable and picturesque.
