Wiener Bierfest is a lively city-centre celebration that turns Vienna’s historic square Am Hof into a multi-day beer hub.
The official festival site confirms the 15th edition will run from 28–31 May 2026 in the square “Am Hof”. Centrally located in Vienna, it is easily accessible (e.g. U2 Schottentor, U3 Herrengasse, U1 Stephansplatz). That central location makes it an easy stop between major sights such as Stephansdom and the Hofburg area, or as a relaxed evening plan after museums and cafés.
With four days on the calendar, you can drop in briefly or build a long weekend around the festival atmosphere. Expect an outdoor, stand-based format on the square, with a sociable crowd and plenty of movement as people sample different pours.
There will be two stages : Seidl Stage with musicians and daily beer barrel tapping with accompanying brass music, as well as the Whistle Stag throughout the day.
