Explore France by Train in 2022
With sustainability and regenerative travel at the heart of what Travel Begins at 40 believes in, we have decided to highlight some great offers from like-minded travel companies. First is one that allows you to explore France by train.
Ffestiniog Travel offers escorted rail tours that will allow to explore France by train while still reducing your carbon footprint. These are two tours they are currently promoting:
Explore France by Train: The Splendour of Corsica
This no-fly tour epitomizes slow travel. Sit back and enjoy the journey as you travel from London to Nice by train. Then sail to Corsica for a fortnight’s escorted tour of the Mediterranean island. Then continue your voyage by rail staying at Ajaccio, Bastia and Calvi, while enjoying the stunning scenery along the way.
The Splendour of Corsica departs on 15 June and 6 September 2022. Prices range from £2,475pp, and include travel, accommodation, seven-day travel card for unlimited travel on Corsica’s railways, and full-day guided excursion to Cap Corse.
Explore France by Train: Ligne des Causses & the Vivarais
