For the adventurous…

The ‘Farm to Forest’ adventure offers guests an opportunity to experience the local history and culture of O‘ahu through the island’s unique sights, stories and food. Hawai‘i Forest and Trail is dedicated to helping conserve Hawai‘i ’s endangered environment by educating tourists about it.

For sea lovers…
Maui Ocean Centre’s new Humpbacks of Hawai‘i Exhibit and Sphere is set to open in early 2019. Hawai‘i’s humpback whales, which embark on one of Earth’s greatest migrations from the North Pacific to the Hawaiian Islands each fall, are revered for their beauty, intelligence and awe-inspiring power, yet hold one of nature’s most profound mysteries. The ocean centre’s new exhibit explores these mysteries, sharing knowledge of the whales’ nomadic lifestyle, behaviours, song, and cultural significance. The centre’s new 3D Sphere theatre, the first of its kind in Hawai‘i, will allow guests to experience a virtual encounter with Maui’s humpbacks in the whales’ own environment.
For art lovers…
The Honolulu Biennial is an international contemporary art exhibition on O‘ahu bringing together artists from Hawai‘i, the Pacific, Asia and the Americas. The public is invited to explore the Honolulu Biennial’s collection of contemporary art, all of which is connected by the Pacific Ocean, from more than 50 artists and art collectives during the exhibition, at a dozen locations throughout Honolulu. Attendees will also get to take in a slate of Honolulu Biennial public programming, including art workshops, artist talks, dance performances, film screenings, fashion shows and live music. The exhibition will run Friday 8 March to Sunday 5 May.
