Your favourite travel website for the over 40s has just become more extensive with the addition of a travel comparison site for flights and hotels.

Leading travel website for the independent-minded, mature traveller – Travel Begins at 40 – has launched a travel comparison engine allowing its readers to find the best prices on flights and hotels all from one place.

The page searches through five booking systems, 45 agencies and 728 airline companies for the best flight tickets. Accommodation is selected from 67 online booking systems, including booking.com, agoda.com, hotels.com, otel.com, dhr.com, easytobook.com, expedia.com.

“We want to make booking your ideal trip as easy as possible,” says Travel Begins at 40 Founder Mark Bibby Jackson. “Inspired by our in depth and informed articles and guides, readers can secure the best accommodation and flights without leaving our site.”

The comparison site covers 59 languages and considers 77 currencies, while offering multi-city flights and a low fare calendar so visitors can find the cheapest dates for their flights.

“We are not selling any accommodation or flights ourselves, nor do we take a fee,” adds Bibby Jackson. “All we are doing is providing access for our readers to the best offers around. All bookings and payments go through the respective partner sites – the airlines and OTAs.”

Travel Begins at 40 has also just launched its Travel Guide to Costa Rica Holidays, the latest in a series of e-travel guides geared at the over-40 traveller that also includes Cambodia, Faroe Islands, Nepal, Tajikistan, Thailand and the UK
