Participants come together as a maximum ‘crew’ of eight people with 90% joining as solos in an incredibly social environment. No previous sailing experience is necessary and under the expert guidance of a skipper and mate, they learn a full range of skills from navigating, helming and sail trimming, right through to how to pick the perfect anchorage. It’s an exciting, hands on environment that attracts people from all over the world.
A two-week sailing holiday exploring in the beautiful Lofoten Islands of northern Norway costs from £1,895 per person (August 2019). There is time to head ashore to explore and discover, catching fresh fish for on shore BBQs and hiking up the hills for stunning panoramas.
