Dining can be indoors at the formal dining table or out on the covered terrace whilst looking out to the horizon. A week’s stay in late May costs £2520 (£630 pp when four share).
Calliaqua, located on the Sugar Hill Resort, is one of the most sought-after luxury villas on Barbados. With direct views of the Caribbean, the imposing mansion sleeps 10 people in five bedrooms (four in the main house plus another in a cottage in the grounds). The expansive lagoon pool features a waterfall sheltered by hibiscus and brightly coloured bougainvillea, and sunset cocktails are enhanced by the fragrances from the garden and the lights dotted around. The house comes with a full contingent of staff and a week’s stay over Whitsun costs £1239 pp based on 10 sharing or £1268 pp when eight people share.
