New Cycling Tours of Portugal and France

In response to a ten per cent leap in UK travellers’ demand for short breaks, active holiday specialist BSpoke Tours has expanded its 2019 portfolio by adding new tours of three-, four- and five-nights’ duration to France and Portugal. The year-on-year double digit growth bucks the national trend, reported by ABTA, of a decline in the number of short breaks taken in 20181.

Ben Roseveare, Activities Director at BSpoke Tours, said: “Short breaks provide a great opportunity to recharge your batteries whether you fancy a four-night self-guided exploration of Bordeaux or a weekend tackling Mont Ventoux. Taking a shorter break allows customers to maximise their holiday experiences without using large chunks of their leave entitlement.”

Roseveare added: “Demand for active short breaks is bucking the national travel trend. We continue to offer longer cycling adventures, both self-guided and escorted by expert guides, but increasingly our customers seek breaks of under a week which give them the chance to enjoy the great outdoors, exceptional cuisine and create memorable encounters with culture, heritage and people.”

Three-night short breaks from BSpoke Tours include:
